Much of the silver in DreamStonz pieces comes from the Karen Hill Tribe of Thailand where painstakingly detailed silversmithing is done by hand using the most rudimentary tools.  Supporting the Karen Hill people by paying fair prices for their art is the right thing to do, so DreamStonz does the right thing.

 

 (3)   COMMITMENT.  DreamStonz is firmly committed to empowering women in third world countries where their knowledge, talent, and strength literally goes to waste because they are not allowed to have a significant role in society.  DreamStonz puts its money where its hearts is by donating 5% of profits to CARE, an organization that focuses on empowering girls and women worldwide through education, community projects, and innovative micro-loan business programs.  Giving women an important role in their communities gives them a voice and power over their lives.

 

These three mission pillars are the basis for the DreamStonz philosophy: to create a world where every person has the opportunity to realize her own potential and recognize her duty to help others reach theirs.
